PEOPLE
We believe in the dignity and value of each and every person because all people deeply matter to God. Regardless of where a person is on their spiritually journey we will be there to care, encourage and help. (Luke 15:1-32; John 3:16; 2 Peter 3:9)
STARTLING GRACE
People love to be where they are loved and accepted. We will be a church that says, "Its ok to be who you are as you are in the process of looking for what is true". Since God celebrates the return of everyone who is searching for Him we too will offer grace to anyone regardless of their background and lifestyle. (Ephesians 2:8-9; John 8:1-11; Luke 15; Luke 23:39-43)
LIFE TRANSFORMATION
We believe that God loves everyone very much the way they are, yet loves them too much to leave them there. Therefore we will be committed to creating an environment of growth and change so every person can reach their full potential and become all God created them to be. (Mark 5:15; 2 Corinthians 5:17)
PASSIONATE PRAYER
We are convinced that nothing truly significant can happen apart from prayer! Prayer enables us to connect with God and His power. When we pray God works! When we pray the door to possibilities is thrust wide open. We will be a church in which everyone from two years old to ninety two engages in passionate prayer to our Creator! (Matthew 19:26; James 4:2-3)
BEAUTY
It is easy to miss the striking splendor of creation and the Creator, like a hectic visitor in the Sistine Chapel. We believe we're wired to be attracted to and absorb God's beauty and splendor which ultimately is to produce great beauty and benefit in our hearts and world. (Psalm 27:4; 145; 148; I Peter 1:16-19)
RELEVANT TRUTH
We believe that what we all really want is to be free! Our church will communicate God's truth plainly and pointedly. We will demonstrate the relevance of God's Word to our everyday lives in order to liberate us to live rightly. (John 8:31-32; Hebrews 4:12)
INTIMATE RELATIONSHIPS
We believe that we need each other. We need other people to encourage us, challenge us and cheer us on in life. We will be a church of small groups in which people are vitally and intimately connected. We are committed to being a church of small groups, cultivating healthy intimacy and wholeness in our relationships. (Acts 2:42-47; Romans 12:10; Proverbs 27:17)
GENEROUS Service
We believe in generous outreach to our surrounding community. As a church we are never so much like God as when we give. We will be known as the church where people joyfully serve others using their gifts and resources to the benefit of others and God's kingdom. (John 13:12-17; Acts 20:35; Galatians 5:13)
SIMPLICITY
We believe that you don't have to have more or do more to find more life. So we will aim to simplify our lives and stuff; to be content with what we have; and spend unhurried time focused on God and those people in our lives. When you start to realize that God is all you have, you begin to know that God is all you need. (Matthew 19:16-22; Hebrews 13:5)
TEAM PLAYERS
We believe God delights in making His children unique and different. We will be highly committed to maintain a "unity in diversity" and doing God's work in teams in which our differences blend together to produce a beautiful harmony. (1 Corinthians 1:10; John 17:21; Eph 4:3-6)
TENACIOUS FAITH
We believe that a growing, persistent trust in God is the key that unleashes God's pleasure and power. We will endeavor as a church to be totally dependent on God. We will also be a church that takes kingdom risks to help others find faith. (Hebrews 11:1; Mark 2:1-5)
